NOON DESIGN SHOP is a home grown lifestyle brand created by best friends and Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) alumni Nora Alexander and Maie Vaga. NOON consists of thoughtfully designed handmade goods made in America for you and your home—specifically simple and timeless jewelry, textile, home goods and interior styling. Each piece in the NOON collection is handmade with integrity either in one of our storefronts or created by masters of their craft from around the country. We source the highest quality materials and ingredients that we combine with clean yet playful designs to bring you a truly outstanding product.
Our dream has always been to do what we love, everyday, with the ones that we love. Nora and I opened our first storefront/studio in 2009 in San Diego in a tiny renovated garage a half a block from the beach. Working with little in our pockets and limited raw materials we created as much as we could with what we had. With lots of heart, many many hours and dedication were able to grow our little dream into a reality. Now with three brick and mortar storefront/studios, an online store and a thriving wholesale business we are able to share our passion and creations with you!

nora alexander : Jewelry Designer
Originally from Rhode Island Nora was trained as an industrial designer at the Rhode Island School of Design. After several years in the jewelry industry she launched her own line NOON, focusing on creating individual pieces whose inspiration is drawn from the natural world. Nora lives in Rhode Island where she hand makes all of our jewelry while running the Pawtuxet Village shop and wholesale.
maie liis vaga : Graphic Designer
A Jersey Shore native and graduated of RISD with a BFA in Graphic Design. Maie designs all of the tea towel / textile designs and package designs with a focus on residential and commercial interior design. You can find her running the Bay Head + Spring Lake NOON retail and coffee shops in NJ!
